The Owner
Cookies have always made me happy. They’ve been my go to dessert. Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, M&M, they’re all sooo good! But there’s something about that Snickerdoodle cookie. There’s something about the way the cinnamon flavor lingers on your tongue for a little while after each bite.
After perfecting my Snickerdoodle recipe, I decided that I was the perfect person to satisfy my own cookie cravings. So I began baking every flavor that I ever loved and then some. I set out to create cookies in flavors of other desserts that I like (strawberry cake, s’mores, butter pecan ice cream, sweet potato pie, etc), because everything’s better as a cookie. Soon, I was convinced by friends that it was only right to share these goods with the world. Thus, TCM Cookie was born!
The Business
TCM Cookie is a company devoted to satisfying EVERYONE'S cookie cravings, year round. We’ve all got a Cookie Monster in us, it just takes the right cookie to bring it out.
Kind of like each of us, every cookie is handmade and crafted to perfection. Our ultimate goal is to inspire everyone to live a little, indulge, and not feel guilty about it. When we say, “don’t be ashamed to feed your inner monster,” it’s not just about eating sweets. It’s about feeding your soul; doing the things you love to do, no matter what others think.
Not only is it important to us to share our love of cookies but it’s just as important to be mentors and role models. One of our biggest goals to be an example to a new generation of Black kids.
As Cookie Monsters, we vow to be who we need to be no matter the difficulties we encounter. We vow to show, not only tell, them that they too can dream big and be ANYTHING. We vow to be who we are, unapologetically, and to encourage others to do the same!
Back in the days when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore, but some days I sit and wish I was a kid again.
Because I remember eating baby bottle pops and watching Keenan and Kel. I remember making bomb desserts in my Easy Bake Oven. I remember way back when I had no worries at all. It was the 90’s. I didn’t care about how I looked or what I ate, I just remember being happy.
This is the experience I want everyone to have when eating my cookies; nostalgia for those childhood days when everything was good.
